A new planning application could see a storage garage owned by Onchan commissioners become a gym.
David Christian of Whitebridge Road in Onchan has applied to turn the unit on Main Road into a space for exercise.
He says the gym would be pre-booked and so users wouldn't just turn up unannounced.
Mr Christian also says he expects to employ between three and five staff at the business if his application is successful.
