A motorist from Farmhill will be sentenced next month after refusing to give police a roadside breath test.
35-year-old Lee John Frearson, of Manor Drive, was stopped on Johnny Watterson's Lane on April 15th.
Officers on mobile patrol had spotted him driving at excessive speed over a roundabout just after 10pm.
Officers smelt intoxicants and asked Frearson to provide a sample - he refused and was arrested and taken to Police Headquarters where he again refused.
At Douglas Courthouse this week he pleaded guilty to failing to provide.
Social enquiry reports have been requested before he's sentenced on May 30th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
