A historic railway wants to build a new booking station and souvenir shop.
Groudle Glen Railway in Onchan has asked for planning permission to build the new facility at its Lhen Coan station.
In its application, the railway says the new building would be carefully designed to fit in with the current architectural style.
The upgrade would give passengers an indoor waiting area as well as improve the line's operation.
