Sailings to and from Heysham today are set to go ahead as planned.
Doubt had been cast over the 8.45am journey to the Lancashire port and its return at 2.15pm with the Steam Packet Company anticipating poor weather.
However, officials confirmed this morning both voyages are scheduled to depart as previously scheduled with passengers asked to check in as normal.
There's also no change to tonights 7.45pm journey to Heysham later on.
