Planning permission has been granted for a new go-karting track at the TT Grandstand in Douglas.
Duke will open the temporary facility on Sunday and it will operate throughout the winter into spring next year.
The venture will be known as Manx Telecom Grandstand Karting, following a sponsorship deal, and will replace Duke’s track in Jurby until Easter.
Noise tests have been carried out by the Environmental Protection Unit and have deemed the facility unlikely to cause any noise nuisance to local residents.
