Dog walkers are being urged to keep their pets on leads in the countryside over the coming weeks.
As lambing season gets underway, the Manx government has published a Dog Walking Code to help keep farm animals safe.
It says dogs should be kept in sight at all times and prevented from barking excessively.
A spokesman has warned of severe penalties for those who don't control their pets.
