The government has published implementation plans for three significant Acts.
Published by the Department of Home Affairs, the plans set out the next steps for the Domestic Abuse, Sexual Offences, and Obscene Publications and Justice Reform Acts.
They include support, training and statutory guidance, new technologies and new procedures, and will be updated on a quarterly basis.
The Acts will ensure that sentences for these crimes are consistent, and the department aims to have all three in place by Autumn 2023.
