An autumn Covid-19 booster will be offered to the vulnerable and frontline health and care workers.
Following advice from the JCVI, the government is offering extra boosters to care home residents, frontline health workers, over 65s and adults who are in a clinical risk group.
The objective of the autumn booster programme is to increase population immunity and protection against sever Covid-19, hospitalization and death.
More information about the rollout will come nearer the time.
