Onchan commissioners say they'll consider trimming the governor's bush after complaints it was looking untidy.
At a recent meeting of the local authority, members were told members of the public had lodged complaints about overgrown hedges throughout the district.
In particular, hedges at Government House along Governors Road were said to be in a poor state.
The board said it would look into the criticisms.
