There are no plans to scrap the census on the Isle of Man.
That’s despite the UK Government revealing it is looking at getting rid of it in an effort to save money.
The UK census takes place every 10 years and reportedly cost £480 million when it was last carried out in 2011.
In comparison the Island’s census is conducted every five years and in 2011 cost £350,000.
