Its says a recent example on Facebook uses a fake quote from Justice Minister Jane Poole Wilson about a government bond platform.
Another scam offers people the 'chance to earn '500 GBP to 1300 GBP per day by using trading platform', saying registration for the Isle of Man is now open.
The government is urging people to be careful with posts or ads using Manx politicians - you can report scams to the Cyber Security Centre via the online reporting form here.
