The government wants your views on plans which would require passengers to carry ID when travelling with the Steam Packet.
A public consultation has been launched on proposals to bring in the new security measures at check-in for ferries.
Officials say it would aim to combat organised crime, and bring the Island in line with UK standards - though some people without ID may be exempt.
