Visitors travelling to the Island for the Manx Grand Prix and TT are being reminded to 'ensure they're insured'.
Manx Care adds most of those who need health care whilst on Manx shores will be covered for most costs.
However, visitors who travel from countries outside the UK are unlikely to be covered, and therefore generally only entitled to urgent and emergency services free of charge.
All other services, such as hospital admissions, medicines and tests are to be paid for by international visitors.
