The government's planning to update its immigration laws by removing gender-specific references.
When Tynwald sits in January, it'll consider the Immigration (Leave to Enter and Remain) (Amendment) Order.
The order will update legislation dating back to 1971.
Among the changes are removing references to "his" or "her" and updating references from "Her Majesty" to "His Majesty".
