Government will 'monitor developments' for passengers travelling from China to both the UK and the Isle of Man.
It comes as Beijing has threatened to take 'counter-measures' after several countries - including the UK - announced Covid testing for arrivals from the Country.
China has abondoned its controversial zero-Covid strategy, desprite high case numbers - and will open its borders this Sunday.
Now, Manx Government says it's 'noted the UK Government's decision to strengthen Covid Surviellance for passengers travelling from China' - which will come into force from Thursday.
As there are no direct flights between the Island and China, the Council of Ministers has agreed to monitor developments and keep the situation 'under review'.
