Two government vocational support schemes will now offer greater financial help to employers and those looking for training.
The Apprenticeship and Vocational Training Assistance schemes aim to support local businesses and give more opportunities to applicants.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture currently supports around 550 people with apprenticeships.
The new revamped schemes will go live from April 1.
