The government says it's looking for a contractor for its livestock slaughter and processing service - and it needn't use the abattoir.
In an advert, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says the successful company would provide slaughter, grading, cutting, packaging, sales, marketing and logistics services.
And it says although the meat plant in Tromode would be available to lease, firms can use existing or new on-Island premises.
Companies have until March 31 to express an interest.
