The Department for Enterprise says it doesn't promote one type of accommodation over another during the Island's motorcycle festivals.
Minister Tim Johnston's responded to a written Tynwald question from Onchan MHK Rob Callister, who wanted to know what's being done to make sure hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs were prioritised.
Mr Johnston said his department promoted events via the Visit Isle of Man website, and then recommended tourists all types of accommodation for their budget.
And that includes self-catering, camping and motorhome pitches.
