The government employs over 60 full-time staff who work in media, marketing or public relations.
The figure was given by Chief Minister Alf Cannan in response to a Tynwald question for written response from Onchan MHK Julie edge.
Topping the list for the most staff in these roles is the Department for Enterprise, which employs over 15 such people.
That's followed by the Cabinet Office, with 12.
