The government's confirmed plans to bring in an NHS levy on the Island have been ditched.
A public consultation was held earlier this year on the plan to help fund the health service and gathered nearly 3,800 responses.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson said public concerns about the proposal were inevitable, and the feedback is helpful for government to plan for the future.
He added his department is working with Manx Care and the Department of Health and Social Care on a special Financial Recovery Programme to help ease pressures on services.
