The Department for Enterprise did not contribute to any costs related to Channing Tatum's visit to the Island during TT.
Government confirmed it gave advice on travel, accommodation and points of interest, and introduced the actor and his team to riders and officials.
The department says it became aware of interest in the TT and the Island from a number of US based media and film organisations earlier in the year and contacted them to offer advice in planning trips.
It comes as Channing Tatum has previously hinted at a TT based project in a Forbes interview.
DfE also confirmed that it incurred no costs, as everything was covered by Mr Tatum and his team.
