Government appoint new Director of International Business Development

He’s promoted the capital internationally to tourists as part of the Mayor’s Promote London Council.

The Department of Economic Development has today announced the appointment of a new Director of International Business Development.

Michael Charlton comes to the role from Think London, an award winning direct investment agency.

He’s promoted the capital internationally to tourists as part of the Mayor’s Promote London Council.

He’ll be charged with the task of opening up business opportunities with markets such as the Middle East, China and Russia.

In his role he will be reporting directly to the Departments Director of Business Development.

Minister Alan Bell said he will be a great asset, not only to Government, but to the local business community as well.
