The Department of Health and Social Care says it'll launch a chickenpox vaccination programme next year.
The jabs, which will start in January, will be given to around 1,500 youngsters a year.
The combined vaccine will protect against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox, and be given at 12 and 18 months.
Manx Care says private vaccinations cost around £150 but will now be free for eligible children.
