The government has announced new rules that would mean you won't have to apply for planning permission on some home improvement projects.
The new rules approved by Tynwald this week means approval isn't needed for sheds, greenhouses and extensions.
It also gives local authorities the power to install play equipment and public art without planning permission.
The government says it deals with a huge amount of planning applications for relatively small home improvements.
