The government is advertising in a UK newspaper for a new head of data protection - with a salary of £130,000 a year.
The Information Commissioner post has been advertised in the Guardian through recruitment consultancy Berwick Partners.
The commissioner promotes, monitors and enforces the Island's data protection law.
Candidates have until May 7 to apply.
