Port St Mary has a new lifeboat this week as its regular boat undergoes work in the UK.
The Gough Ritchie 2 travelled to Conwy in North Wales earlier this week for maintenance work.
The work included cleaning the vessel's underside as well as applying anti-fouling measures.
The lifeboat will return after a new radar system is installed - in the meantime the Dora Foster McDougall, a relief lifeboat, will stand in at the southern boathouse.
