The Manx Wild Bird Aid is urging dog owners to be mindful after a goose was attacked.
The bird was rescued from Derbyhaven last weekend after a presumed dog attack left her with a number of awful injuries.
The charity is reminding people shore birds need a chance to feed on beaches, and could starve to death if continuously chased away by dogs.
They're also asking owners to report any attacks and help with the rescue where possible.
The goose is now safe and being cared for.
