An interactive Google Story has been created which chronicles the events of the D-Day Landings.
On its 80th anniversary, Manx National Heritage has worked with Google Arts and Culture to present an online exhibition from a Manx perspective
The D-Day landings were the first stage in freeing the countries of occupied Europe from the grip of Nazi domination.
It begins by focussing on the Steam Packet Company vessels which carried servicemen into battle, along with their Manx crews.
The voice of a much-respected veteran, the late Hector Duff can also be heard, describing his part in the landings.
