Good weather forecast for solar eclipse viewers

If you're hoping to watch the partial solar eclipse this week, there's good news from weathermen!

Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a five-day forecast, which predicts visibility will be good for the astronomical event.

It says it's expecting clear skies and sunshine on Wednesday - meaning there'll be a good chance of catching sight of the rare occurrence.

The Isle of Man will darken this Wednesday, August 12 at around 6.10pm for the eclipse, which will be most visible in the west and will last until just after 8pm.
