A total of 40 young people have received their Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards in a ceremony at Government House.
The golden badges were presented by the Lieutenant Governor Sir John and Lady Lorimer.
Some of the achievements to get them included leading a school jazz band, cycling in the Isle of Arran and learning to sail a yacht.
As the top award in the scheme, it takes at least a year to complete.
