Anyone who doesn't want paperless gas bills will face a £2.50 charge, according to Isle of Man Energy.
The Island's only mains gas supplier has been writing to customers telling them they'll be moved to a paperless system this year.
In a letter to customers, it says people can switch over now by visiting its website islandenergygroup.com
But it adds anyone who continues to receive paper bills will be charged £2.50 each time.
