Glen Road in Laxey is set to remain closed for nearly four months.
The Department of Infrastructure confirmed the stretch between Church Hill and Minorca Hill will stay shut until February 7 or until the flooding repair work is finished.
The stretch was severely damaged by flooding back on Tuesday, October 1, which also had devastating effects for the rest of the town.
Officials say access to properties in the area will be maintained.
