Manx Utilities says it's looking for sites to house solar energy projects in future.
On Facebook, it's inviting landowners who have suitable sites for solar generation to get in touch.
The organisation says it's gathering information to find out what's available before starting any procurement process, and will consider privately owned land as it looks at government-owned sites.
