The overall level 1 & 2 GCSE pass rate for grades A* to G stands at 98% today after nearly 900 secondary school students received the all important results.
Those receiving grades of A* to -A equivalent stands at 21%.
GCSE results dictate the next move for the 16 year olds, with nearly 90% expected to carry on into further education.
At the UCM 220 students sat English and Math's GCSE with an overall pass rate of 98%
