Dukes Avenue has closed while a gas main is repaired.
Manx Gas says it needs to replace the pipes under the junction of Dukes Avenue and Glencrutchery Road, following third party damage.
As a result, the company has had to secure an emergency closure.
However, only the access to and from Glencrutchery Road will be closed - the Grandstand, Police Headquarters and nearby properties can still be accessed via Upper Dukes Road.
