Garff commissioner declares for new look constituency

Nigel Dobson has declared as an independent candidate for the new constituency of Garff saying he's thought "long and hard" about the decision as he'll be at a wedding in Hanoi in September.

 

He says the next five years will be a "challenging time" for the Island with continuing pressures on the public purse but by nature he's an "optimist" and wants to be "proactive rather than reactive".
