It comes following one person being arrested on Wednesday evening after two fires in Mona Street.
Officers have confirmed that person has now been released on bail while enquiries continue.
In a post today Police say they believe the most recent fires were set sometime between 2.30 and 3.30am on Wednesday, and want to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area at that time.
