Today the close friends and family of local stuntman Matt Cranch will pay their final respects at his funeral.
Matt died when a safety net collapsed during a human cannonball stunt at a Kent showground on April 25th.
Matt, who turned 24 in February, grew up in the Isle of Man where his parents and older sister still live.
It’s been apparent since his passing that he was an immensely popular figure on the Island, with dozens of his friends gathering last week for a special memorial night at a Douglas bar.
His funeral will be held at the Douglas Crematorium, only his closest friends and family will be in attendance.
