The debut fundraising event for a local organisation has raised more than £11,000.
The funds were generated for Love Tech - which raises awareness of careers in Science, Technology and Engineering for girls and women - with a premiere screening of the film 'General Magic' at the Broadway Cinema in Douglas on January 19.
Love Tech co-founder, Claire Milne, is thanking all those who donated to the cause and says they look forward to kick-starting more projects later this year.
The movie, co-directed and co-produced by Manx-born Sarah Kerruish, chronicles the story of highly-successful tech firm General Magic which was based in Silicon Valley.
