Fundraiser for paw-ly Ramsey character

Shops in Ramsey have begun fundraising to pay for a well-known cat's vet bill.

Thomas the Ramsey Cat wanders between shops in the town meeting visitors and residents alike.

But he had to be taken to the vet earlier  this week suffering from a wound on his leg.

Now, traders have begun putting out collections bowls to raise money to fund his treatment - including two of his favourite spots, the Farmers' Combine and Copycat.
