An online fundraiser to bring a stalwart of the Island's music scene home has reached three times its target in just 24 hours.
Raz McVeighty died while attending a music event in Blackpool at the weekend, and friends have set up an online campaign to raise the £2,000 needed to return his body.
He was well-known for attending gigs - and many knew him through his work at Tesco in Douglas.
Bands, music venues and the public have all donated, so far raising more than £6,000.
Organisers say any money left over will go towards the costs of his funeral and his headstone.
