An annual event in Douglas taking place next month provides important visibility for the work of Island charities.
That's according to Douglas Borough Councils Regeneration and Community Committee Chairman Stephen Pitts speaking about the Noble's Park Fun Day set to take place on Sunday, August 3 from 1pm to 5pm.
As well as providing a family day out with stalls and free attractions, Mr Pitts says it helps to promote 'a whole raft of charities all working hard to transform people's lives'.
Two of the organisations also set to attend for the first time is new mental health initiative MCH/IsleListen and Huntington's Disease Isle of Man.
