Full Steam Ahead for War Veteran\'s Health Agreement Reversal Campaign
The Campaign to bring about a reversal in the Reciprocal Health Agreement spearheaded by War veteran Brigadier Normal Butler has began to gather pace both on Island and most importantly in the UK.
Brigadier Butler has featured heavily in the British Press over the past fortnight, his main grievance being the detrimental affects the decision will have on his elderly veteran comrades, there are currently 7000 Military Veterans living on the Island.
Brigadier Butler is yet to hear back from Prime Minister Gordon Brown following a letter he sent to him highlighting his concerns.
We spoke to him to find out why he thinks the army veteran angle has especially struck a chord.
