Proposed changes to the Island's abortion laws will be consulted on widely before any political debate takes place.
That's the promise from Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson, who published his draft Abortion Reform Bill this week.
The plans would see wider access to abortion, with a counselling service and the option to have the procedure on-Island.
Dr Allinson says as well as a public consultation, there'll also be the chance for Tynwald members and health professionals to have their say:
