FSC Warn About Money and Identity Theft Scam on Island

The Manx Financial Supervision Commission has issued a warning to the Manx Public in light of fraudulent letters being sent out across the Island which could lead to identity theft or advance fraud fee.

The letters have been offering employment by Sheraton Hotels Isle of Man.

It encourages people to complete a visa application and pay an advance application processing fee.

Anyone who has received such a letter is urged not to respond but to report it to their local Police fraud unit.
