A yellow weather warning remains in place on Island.
The frost and ice warning is in force until 3pm this Thursday.
The Met Office says frost may develop on higher ground above around 600ft, whilst ice could become a risk on damp or untreated surfaces.
Meanwhile, forecasters predict there may be some light, isolated snow showers but the amount of snow isn't expected to be significant.
