Four men from England have been remanded in Jurby Prison after trying to kidnap a man on the Island.
19-year-old Abdul Ahad, 21-year-old Zishaan Amar Sharif, 22-year-old Amman Sohail and 24-year-old Muhammad Hammad Khan appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Saturday.
The men, who are from Burnley and Bradford respectively, have been charged with detaining another man with the “intention of sending out of Island”.
No pleas were entered before the High Bailiff – they are due to appear again in court again tomorrow.
