A well-known Island businessman has died.
72-year-old Eddie Davies passed away while on holiday with his wife yesterday.
He was Chairman of Island-based Strix for 22 years, and owned Bolton Wanderers Football Club up until 2016.
He was also renowned for donating considerable sums of money to various charities - receiving his CBE in 2011.
