Onchan will go to the polls next month to elect a new commissioner.
Three candidates have come forward - Nigel Anthony Dobson of Ballachrink Drive, Oliver John Lockwood of Laureston Close in Douglas and Scott Wilson of Lhon Dhoo Close.
Mr Dobson, a former Garff commissioner, unsuccessfully stood for the House of Keys in 2016.
A by-election will be held on November 14.
The vacancy on the board was left by Fenella Logan after she resigned in August.
