Former DCCL Minister Graham Cregeen says he had been a long time campaigner for the very initiative that saw him lose his ministerial position.
The Malew and Santon MHK has been demoted due to the fact the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is being dissolved.
He joins outgoing minister’s David Anderson and David Cretney and will return to the back benches.
However Mr Cregeen says he has no hard feelings and has felt for a long time that government needed to be significantly ‘slimmed down’.
